MEET OUR NEW MASSAGE THERAPIST

DEBRA LEWIS, LMT

We’re very excited to welcome Debra Lewis to the balance family! A licensed massage therapist for the last 14 years, Debra received her initial formal education at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, where she pursued advanced training in pregnancy massage, polarity therapy and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Since then she has continued studying her craft, taking additional training in Myofascial Pain Syndromes: Trigger Point Intensives with Beth Paris, P.T.; Craniosacral Therapy at Rochester’s Upledger Institute (Level 1 in October 1995; Level 2 in October 1996); and Somatoemotional Release in March 1999.

Debra’s diverse experiences in massage education have also included studying the Society of Souls three-year Integrated Kabbalistic Healing, a three-year period of training in Somatic Experiencing (Trauma Healing). She is currently in the third year of a three-year Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy training in Lincoln, Vermont with Jan Pemberton, RCST, a teacher who studied with Franklyn Sills.
